Enzo Francescoli, Director of River Plate Club Confirms that he has never approached Manchester United striker Edison Cavani
The Uruguay international star is about to expire at the end of the season. It is expecte that the News will not extend a new contract ufabet with the team for sure. In the past, there was news that he would return to football in South America with River Plate’s continued interest.
However, Francescoli insists the Argentine side have not spoken or had any contact with Cavani.
“I’ve never spoken to Cavani, nothing has been negotiate,” Francescoli told Pan Supermite.

In his Guardian column earlier this week, Fabrizio Romano also quashed any chances of Cavani joining the Argentine outfit. He claimed that the former PSG man was looking for opportunities in La Liga to continue his career.
Cavani has been struggling with a groin strain in recent weeks and has been missing from action. Ralf Rangnick did confirm that the United forward had been back in training ahead of the Manchester derby.
